I am Ivana Tilca, I was born in the city of Salta in northern Argentina. I lived in different parts of the world like Mendoza, Córdoba, Buenos Aires and in the United States, Redmond, WA. At one time in my life I was a backpacker and met Europe, the Middle East and part of Latin America.
I am curious, restless and lover of amazement. I will briefly tell you my story.
As I mentioned I was born in Salta, I lived there until I was 12 years old and then I moved with my family to the city of Mendoza west of Argentina where I finished my secondary studies.
Then, when I was 18, I moved to Córdoba (Argentina), where I was part of the Journalism career at the National University.
For family reasons I moved back to Salta, where I began my studies in Information Systems. There I started getting involved in the Microsoft community and became a Microsoft Student Partner. Which gave me the opportunity to travel through different parts of the country giving computer training.

In 2008 I competed in Imagine Cup in Paris, France. Microsoft’s competition for innovation. With the same I was able to start my international trips, presenting myself in the final in France in July of the same year.

In 2012 I started working as a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft for the Buenos Aires / Uruguay subsidiary.
And in the middle of the same year I moved to Redmond, to work at Microsoft Corp. I think that experience marked the rest of my life.

I was in a different country, surrounded by people from different countries. We used free time from work to travel and get to know the United States and there I realized, that I loved this world.
Through Microsoft I was able to travel to Dubai, Russia among other countries.
It was in 2014 that I decided to take my backpack and travel the world. With 28 years I had to know more places. There travel through Europe and the Middle East.
From there, I returned and decided to settle in Córdoba.
I work today for a software company called 3XM Group as Quality Manager and in my spare time I dedicate myself to research on technology and innovation.

Last January 2020, I received the Microsoft MVP Award for Artificial Intelligence. I am specifically attracted to the branch of Artificial Intelligence and XReality, I think there is much potential to innovate there.

So… Who am I?
As indicated by the top of my blog. A person who has many stories to tell. Simply a lady. Geek 🧉Mate Lover – Argentina – Córdoba // Former @Microsoft Technical Evangelist. # Azure #Cloud ☁️Mixed Reality and #AI 👾
